Sweet Stop Sketch



I used the sketch at the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge Blog for this card, there is not many weeks I dont manage to do this sketch. I am sad to see this xmas paper go as it has so many uses.

Deconstruction Challenge



I am loving the sketches over at the Deconstruction Challenge Blog, they really make you work. At first I wasnt sure about how to use the sketch but it fell together in the end and I really like how it turned out.

For this card I used the following products from Stampin Up..

Card - Poppy Parade, daffodil delight, Old Olive, Baja Breeze
DS Papers - Just add Cake and In colour paper stack
Punches - Square (to make banner edge), fancy flower and large oval

Verve Week 2

Verve Challenges

My Favourite things MFTWSC33



I used the sketch over at 'My Favourite Things' challenge in splitcoast stampers site for my inspiration for this card. I have just got my pre-order Pennant and am Keen to make cards using it different ways. I love the fact you can use it for Ice cream cones, or xmas trees or as a banner, what a great set!!!

For this card I used the following stampin Up products.

Card - Melon Mambo and blushing bride
Ink - Melon Mambo, more mustard
Punch - scalloped oval, Decorative Label Punch and create a cupcakec
Non stampin up - Edge punch and Pink Cardstock

Verve and Sweet and Sassy





I loved the colours over a the Sweet and Sassy stamps inspiration challenge this week and decided to couple it with the Verve Sketch Challenge. The new 'In Colours' for this year at stampin up has a lovely aqua colour (pool party) and it matches the DS papers from 3 seasons ago that I hung onto because I adored the paper. I am a happy bunny I can now use it again.

The card uses the following products from Stampin Up.

Stamping 411



I decided to have a go at the sketch over at the Stamping 411 Challenge blog, I decided to keep it quite simple and settled on a xmas card. It was def a good chance to use my new Pennant Parade stamp set.

Deconstruction Challenge and Play Date Cafe




I am loving the colours over at the Play Date Cafe Colour Challenge this week. It did say suggested Colours so I decided in the absence of Navy Blue, concorde Crush would be a good substitute. The sketch was from the Deconstructing Challenge and I umm ed and Ahh ed several times before I found something that I am actually really happy with but I must apologise for the poor photo the weather is shocking so I had to take indoors. So for this card I used the following products from stamin Up.

Xmas Stamp a Stack


The year is flying by in a flash (or so it feels) no sooner does one month start and bam its gone. Its only 5 months til xmas and we all know we keep saying 'I better get my xmas cards started' only to put it off for another day, say no more as I am holding a Xmas stamp a stack on Thursday 25th August at my house in Umina. The cost will be $15 and you will make 6 cards, 3 each of 2 different designs which includes all the materials and refreshments.
