Get Sketchy Take 2


I ended up making another card using the sketch over at the Get Sketchy Site on Stampin UP. I am not really a 'distressed' type of person on my cards, I like clean lines lol. Anyway I decided it needed to be distressed a bit and a very happy with the result.

Get Sketch with Colour Q




I have combined the sketch over at the -Get Sketchy challenge at Splitcoast stampers with the recipe from the Colour Q Blog Challenge. I am much happier with this card than my earlier one.

Mojo Challenge



I have struggled big time with my 'mojo' (pardon the pun) this week but I did manage to get some sort of card out for this challenge *sigh* not particularly happy with it so I may have another shot. Who knows, maybe its because the sketch is quite simple so made it harder (does that make sense). Anyway here you go.

Play Date Cafe and Sketchbook Saturday




I am not usually able to do the 'splash' colour challenges over at the Play Date Cafe but I really wanted to challenge myself this week and was determined to make a card. I probably had a bit more than a splash though. I used the sketch over at the Sketchbook Saturday Challenge as I have really enjoy these ones. The photo is poor as had to do inside, will try to post better image tomorrow.

I struggled with the sketch for Freshly Made Sketches this week, this is the 2nd card I made as I didnt like my first one lol. But I am happy with this one although I cant seem to get the photo to look good.

I used the recipe from Just add Ink (I had to substitute Certain Celery with Pear Pizazz) and coupled it with the sketch over at the Card Patterns Challenge Site. My daughter's birthday is coming up this month so I decided to do a card with her in mind.

Sweet Sunday Sketch



I cant seem to put the stripe embossing folder down at the moment, any excuse to use it and out it comes lol. I have a cousin who is due to have a baby boy sometime this month so thought the layout at the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge was great to use as a base for the card.

Mojo meets Inkspirations




Although I had tried to do this sketch earlier in the week, nothing I seemed to do worked or I liked, well tonight after work It kinda fell together and I wasn't even trying for the colours but I realised I was using the Inkspiration Recipe AGAIN (well I did use 2 slight off colours). Unfortunately I am to late for the Mojo submission but I didn't care I hate it when sketches beat me.

Split Coast Sketch Challenge


Well I have to say the sketch over at the Splitcoast Stampers had me a little lost. I reached from some of the new Hostess Papers and decided to go BRIGHT this is so no me lol but I thought come on Jo you can use bright. I am actually quite pleased with the result even if it is quite simple.

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge


Well I have neglected this Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge over the last few weeks but the sketch this week was just up my alley.
