Sweet Sunday and Friday Mashup

Just going to be a very quick post today, I made this card earlier for a couple of challenges but been so busy.  This card was made using lots of old stuff.    I used the sketch over at the Sweet Sunday blog and also the inspirational colours and challenge to make a baby card over at the Friday Mash UP.

For this card I used the following products from Stampin Up

Stamps - Nursery Necessities (retired)
Ink - Soft Sky, Peach Parfait
Card - Peach Parfait, Crumb Cake, Soft Sky, Whisper White
Some very old DS papers from my stash
Scallop Punch, Tasteful Trim
Marker and ruler.

Love how it turned out.

You can order from stampin up HERE

Mojo Monday

I love this new stamp that you can get totally free during sale-a-bration there are so many colour combos that work with it.  It is a 3 step stamp starting with the palest colour and building up darker to darker.  In fact you can just get away with double stamping if you so wish and it still doesn't spoil the effect.  The combo I have chosen is using a subtle colour with a pop of dark.

I used the sketch at Mojo Monday today and wanted to keep it simple and elegant.  I also used the sentiment Thinking of you because I think it suits the colour scheme and feels calm.

For this card I used the following products from stampin Up

The Paper Players

Ok well I am so in love with the Bokeh technique I use any excuse to make a card and this one was no exception.  I love trying it with all different colours and it seems to sit well whatever the colour or combination used.  I also think this one is suitable for the Paper Players Challenge.  This one was made using just Lost Lagoon and Whisper White Craft Ink.

For this card I used the following

Runway Challenge

Ok from now on I am gonna use this blog again as I can't seem to figure out some of the things I wanted to do with the other one lol.

I used the inspirational photo at The Runway Challenge, I had completely forgotten this challenge and it used to be one of my favs doh and I also used it for the challenge at the Paper Players Blog.  Anyway today I was having a play around with more bokeh effects and I really wanted to do an eye popping colour with an eye popping sentiment and these challenges covered both although I was to late for the Runway Challenge.  I love how this has turned out and it is such a forgiving technique.

For this card I used the following products from Stampin Up
