Global Design Project

I used the sketch over at the Global Design Project.  I decided to keep this one simple.  I used the word stamps from the Holly Jolly Greetings to make the background.  I am not sure if its a little to plain.

Retro Sketch Challenge

This week I am challenging myself to use up old DS papers because if you are anything like me you have heaps and heaps of scraps hanging around.

I used the sketch over at the Retro Sketch Challenge blog as the inspiration for this card and I decided to keep it pretty much exactly what it is and on the same nautical theme.   I am really happy with the way it came out.

For this card I used the following products from Stampin Up

Global Design Project

This is my entry for the Global Design Project and I am loving the inspiration cards.  I took not only the design but the colour scheme too.  I haven't been able to put the wonderland set down since I got it.  Admittedly the Santa sleigh is from the house to home set from last year as I don't have the new one.  Anyway I used the following products from Stampin Up

Less Is More

The challenge over at the Less is More challenge blog today was to make a single layered card with minimal embellishments and lots of white space.  I made this card using a old retired set which I purchased a few weeks ago.  I have 2 versions of the card, 1 just as is which I think is nice but I then embossed it with the Softy Falling embossing folder.

Not sure which I prefer.  Both work for the challenge as there is only 1 layer and no embellishments.

Splitcoast Stampers sketch challenge

Well it seems like I haven't had a go at the challenge over at the Splitcoast Stampers in what feels like forever.  I had kinda forgotten about it.  But I stumbled upon it and decided to have a go again.  Sorry the photo is pretty crappy, will try to photograph better tomorrow.

I have finally broken away from the leaves you'll be re-leafed to hear(did you see what I did there).

Inkspire meets Case this Sketch

I know its another leaf card lol and you may notice that my pic of the card got photo bombed by a wild King Parrot and whilst it wasn't the best photo of the card I felt I had to use it for entertainment value.  How could I not lol.

This card was made using the Sketch at Case This Sketch and the colour combo from In(k)spire me which was to use daffodil delight, Deligtful Dijon and another colour which I chose as Cajun Craze.

So for this card I used the follow products from Stampin Up

Sweet Sunday

Quick post today as I really wanted to quickly blog a card I made earlier this week.  Being slack again.  In truth I've been a bit off this week with my MS and I've made craft my therapy and have actually made heaps of cards but blogged none. Epic fail.  Craft therapy works though I feel much better lol.

So I wanted to keep this card clean and simple.  I decided to use the adorable 'No Bones about It' stamp set from Stampin up as its so darn cute.

I used the sketch over at the Sweet Sunday Challenge as my inspiration.

For this card I used the following products.  If you want to order these you can click on the items below and shop on line and have these delivered direct to your door.

Christmas Card extravaganza

In this post I am going to show you some of the Christmas Cards I have been making over the last few days.  I am sorry that I haven't blogged for a while I have had a lot going on, holiday, birthdays and general life issues that take up my blogging time.  I hope these next few posts will make up for my shortfall.

So most of these cards are made using the new stuff  in the Holiday Catty which is going live in September.  I have to say I love this catty probably the best one ever in my opinion.

Card 2,3 and 4

These cards are all made using the new fantastic Stamp Set and co-ordinating framelits Jingle all the way. I am totally in love with this set.

This card was made using a new set called Reason for the Season and my take on the one displayed in the catty.  Its a three part stamping but I only use the 2 as I really am not sure about the washy look of the leaves so I just colour them in myself.

This card was made using the following products from Stampin Up

Some I can't link for you as they are not available til 1st Sept, so I have listed these with codes and prices so you can make a list.

Reason for the Season 139730 Photopolymer only $37, or you can bundle it with a new Festive Flower Punch to make a 3D ponsetta, code 139682 $31for punch, bundle code 140847 $57.75 a nice saving.

My Favorite Things (Colour Challenge)

The previous card I did was also based on this My Favourite Things colour challenge but I just felt I wanted to punch it up a bit which I couldn't do in a one layer card. So I remade it using a base of Pear Pazazz and also punched out some stars to give it a bit of lift.
