Tranquil Tulips

3rd Post in one day, well I do have some time to make up.

Today's post is using the Tranquil Tulips set.  This set is exclusive to the hostess.  There are 2 ways you can get your hands on one of these.  1st one is to host a workshop in your own home and invite all your crafty friends.  If your sales reach $250 or more you earn $$$$ to spend free.  Use your free dollars to on products in the catalogue including the exclusive hostess sets and vastly reduced prices.  The 2nd way is to do an on line order and spend $250 dollars and earn free $$$ and have it delivered straight to your own door.

I focused on using 3 of the new in colours, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist and Powder Pink.  They just go so well together.  I did use one of the stamps from another hostess set 'Background Bits' to do the background stamping.  Sentiments are from various sets.

Epic Celebrations

It's that time of the year again folks, Sale-a-bration.  You can choose a free item for every $90 spent.  There are also a couple of extra large freebies for those of you that spend $180 and lets face it, it's not hard with so much yummy stuff to buy.

For the 2 cards below I made a male and female card suitable for those annoyingly difficult teenager age bracket.  Firstly I stamped all over the card with the 'converse' looking shoe stamp, I then coloured in just the sole and laces, there are 2 ways you can do this.  1. You can use the craft white ink pad with a blender pen and colour in or 2. You can use the chalk marker pen.  I have tried both and the 1st way is more subtle where the chalk marker is more vibrant.  Both look good and I have to say the chalk marker was the easier of the 2.  I did this card in a recent stamp-a-stack and the ladies loved it  Very simple to do and I think look awesome.

I used the following products to make these projects.  If you wish to purchase them just pop over to my facebook craft page and click on the shop now.  You can also follow me and get all my updates.

Number of Years

OMG I can't believe I haven't updated anything for nearly a year.  It's not that I haven't been creating, it's just I never get round to blogging.  New year resolution is to try to blog at least once a week from now on.

I thought I would blog some of the creations I haven't got around to blogging.  The two cards below I made using the Number of Years set, but just the flowers.  I wanted to keep it fresh and light.

I used the following products from Stampin up to create these cards which you can purchase from my store

TGIF meets Global Design Project

I was inspired to make this card because a friend's little girl is turning one soon.  I decided to use the sketch over at the Global Design Project and the colour challenge over at the TGIF challenge blog.

I think one ofmy  fav colours at the moment is Sweet Sugarplum and I paired it with the glimmer paper from our recent sale-a-bration.
