Epic failing on posting anything for weeks again. Bad Jo. So I am very quickly sticking this up on my blog as I whizzed it up this afternoon. The other day I was inspired by a photo in a random add that appeared on my Facebook feed and I felt the need to emboss gold to Bermuda Bay. I did a rather large piece which enabled me to do 3 cards in the same colour combo.
These are a couple of cards I made for yesterdays Stamp a Stack. I was really happy with them. All the items are from stampin Up, just click on the shop now button at the top of my blog.
Card stock = Whisper White, Soft Sky, Real Red, Crumb Cake.
DS Paper - Candy Cane
Framelits - Layering Circles, Starlight
Punch - Cookie Cutter builder
Stamps - Star of light (available in bundle with the starlight framelits), Cooki Cutter (also in bundle with the punch), Frosted Medallions
Real Red Glimmer Paper and Some Real Red bakers twine.
I really enjoyed the Case challenge and I wanted to use it at a workshop but using the new Emerald Envy sparkly embossing powder which is just awesome so I did one using the new tree stamp and matching framelit. I then made another one using the sparkly real red embossing folder and the new Star of light.
I made 2 cards for this challenge this time. I saw someone made these darn cute little bears from the fox punch and I just had to make some too. I did a girl and boy baby card. I decided to use a little heart for the nose and love how it looks. I used the sketch over at the My Favorite Thingschallenge blog.
I have made this card using a challenge set by my upline and the sketch challenge over atViva La Verve. I stamped over a piece of Mint Macaroon with the Paisley and Posies stamp set using Island Indigo, I then used the Sweet Sugarplum inkpad with my blender pens to colour in little areas.
To Make this card I used the following products from stampin Up
Card - Island Indigo, Mint Macaroon, Whisper White
Ink - Island Indigo and Sweet Sugarplum
Some of the new Glitter Ribbon
2 weeks in a row I have now managed to make and blog an entry using the sketch over at the the Mojo Monday Challenge and this week it's competition week.
I wanted to be bold with using the colours and I saw some cards on Pintrest HERE that inspired me and made me really want to break out the new Floursing Phrases thinlits. I am very happy with the way this card turned out.
Card Stock - Basic Black and Melon Mambo
Flourshing Phrases Thinlits.
