I had made this one before the other one but wasn't 100% happy with it. But you have to see the good the bad and the ugly so this was my first take on the Splash of Colour over at the Play Date Cafe Challenge this week.
Card - Whisper White, Real Red and Basic Black
Stamp - I {Heart} Hearts, Forever Young
Ink - Basic Black and Real Red

I love it! That heart is super sweet and the embossing is the perfect coordinated accent!

ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I love how you highlighted the girl on the swing!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this to pieces, Jo! So many great details and a real feel-good image! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at The Play Date Cafe!
ReplyDeleteI really love this. I love that you have the heart in the background of someone on the swing... makes me a little misty thinking of my boys on the swings and how much I love to see them play. I think this is really well done.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness . . . love this design. I have that stamp and it is one of my favorites. Beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteOH! I love that the heart is right where the little child is swinging! SOOOOOO fun! Reminds me of my younger brother--he used to swing all morning (before the bus came) and all afternoon until it was dark! This is a perfect card for him! LOVE:) Thanks so much for joining in the fun and playing along with the PDCC!
