Mojo 145

My entry for the mojo challenge this week. I used SU Tea party ds papers and not a lot of stamping on this one. The flower is also cut from the paper.

Taylored Expression

My entry for the challenge this week. Def needs a sentiment on the blue band but I just cant decide what to put so have decided to leave it blank for now and put the sentiment on when I use it.

And another

Well the time of the week for the Play Date Cafe colour combo and this week I have linked it with Mercy challenge, both links are on my challenge list. I used my new fox and friends stamp set from stampin up along with some of their ds series paper and the birthday block which I only used a small bit of with my pens. I wish my squares were a little bit squarer (if that is a word) I must get myself a square punch. The photo as usual does not bring out the best of its colours and also for some reason makes it look lobsided (or is it me). I am trying to make a few kid and male friendly cards.

Kazan sketch and Time to Craft challenge

Today was my day off so I decided craft was in order. I used the Kazan sketch to make a yuletide card for the Time to Craft challenge. I uses my stampin up 'season of Joy' stamp set which is probably my most used set.

Stampin up cardstock real red and buckaroo blue (i think) with some of the dashing DS paper.

I decided to have a go at a male card which I find very difficult most of the time. I am quite happy with this one, couple of thinks I wish I had done instead but to late by then LOL. I used the seaworthy stampin up set for the image.

Play Date and Get Sketchy

I have used the Get Sketchy sketch challenge with the Recipe from the Play Date Cafe, I always need direction for my creations so I look forward to thursdays for their recipe and then chose the sketch i want to use. I have only recently discovered the Get Sketchy challenges. Links to both are to the right of my blog. Anyway onto my card. I used just blue, black and white on the this one. I stamped the upsy daisy stamp from stampin up with white ink and sprinkled on some embossing powder which I then embossed using my stove top (yep thats right I have a halogen ring which works great LOL). I put some double sided tape on some whisper white card stock before cutting some thin strips which I used for the lines. 3 little half pearls and a sentiment finished it off.

Someone has left me a lovely email to tell me about the challenge over a Caardvarks so I will also put it into that one too.

Mojo 143

Time for another mojolishous challenge. I have used the ds papers from stampin up with the new razzleberry cardstock and ribbon. Not much stamping but the sentiment is from the upsy daisy set from stampin up.

Play date and Taylored expression

I have used the recipe from the play date cafe along with the sketch by Taylored expression. I am not sure what I think of it, I think I like it and it sure does look better in the flesh. I cannot seem to get the colours to show up properly. I didnt have craft coloured card stock so I had to use suede colour from stampin up instead.

Mercy Challenge

I am rather pleased with this card even if I do say so myself, not sure why but it looks so fresh in the flesh. I flipped the layout on its side. My faithful butterfly came out for this one.

Mojo 142

Managed to do my entry earlier this week. Have used melon mambo and soft suede card stock from stampin up. I embossed the image from vintage vogue on the background and used copper embossing powder. Then I stamped and cut out the flower also from that set.

Taylored Expression Challenge

My entry this week is again in the same DS papers from stampin up, who would know that I really didnt like the look of them when I first saw them, but with the new corresponding colours in the cardstock, I just cant seem to put them down LOL. Oh well my blog is going to be full of razzleberry for now.

Get sketchy 41

This is my first go at one of their challenges. I didnt have any appropriate cord to do the sting bits so I cut very thin stips of razzleberry card from stampin up along with some corresponding DS papers also from stampin up. I toyed with using some small flowers but thought that they would look too much against the background so I stuck with half pearls instead.
