Mercy Challenge

Time for the mercy challenge. I love the red and black coupled with my new artistic etchings stamp set. I made this card for a 21st birthday coming up. I have added a sentiment since finishing it but decided just to post the pic without it.

You can join in HERE

Mercy Challenge and Play Date Cafe

I dug out my old trendy trees stamp set from stampin up. I tried to get as close to the colours as I could, I actully started out with differet papers and different card stock but decided I didnt like them together.

If you want to have a go at the Mercy Sketch the link is HERE
For the Play Date Cafe colour combo challenge the link is HERE

I love both these challenges and try to do them each week.

Mercy Challenge 91

Well I really dug deep and found some very old ds papers, I love these colours but always find them a little tricky to use, dont ask me why. Anyway my friend wanted a wedding card which is up there with male cards on my hate to do scale. but I am rather pleased with the outcome. I used my heart stamp set and although I have the heart cutter it didnt leave enough round it for my liking so I cut them out instead, I embossed them to make the white brighter. I also embossed the only sentiment slightly resembling a wedding in silver. Have a go at the sketch HERE

Mercy Challenge 90

Here is my entry for the challenge this week. I have to say I really like this card. I used my old fav, season of joy set from stampin up, with real red cardstock and some DS papers from last year and a scrapbooking set. I really didnt want to do the stiching so I left it off. Ruby Red cardstock and the inks where old olive, real red and choc chip. You will find a link to the challenge Here

Mercy Challenge and Taylored Expression

I have had a funny week this week, I had a very bad migraine on Tuesday which I havent had for a couple of years or so and since then my head has ached on an off with vision problems and nausea. Not sure if its realted to my MS or just one of those weeks. Had another MRI on Wed so I will soon know if things have progressed. It has made it a bit tricky to be doing craft as your eyes are quite important LOL. Anyway I have managed a couple of challenges the Taylored Expression and Mercy Challenge, both links to these blogs are to the left of my blog in day order have a go, its fun and inspiring.

Mercy Challenge

Today is my day off and I was determined to make a card. I want to use up some of my 'scraps' of paper and card. I dusted off my embrace life stamp set from stampin up for this one. Although in the photo it looks quite plain, it does look better in real life.

And another

Well the time of the week for the Play Date Cafe colour combo and this week I have linked it with Mercy challenge, both links are on my challenge list. I used my new fox and friends stamp set from stampin up along with some of their ds series paper and the birthday block which I only used a small bit of with my pens. I wish my squares were a little bit squarer (if that is a word) I must get myself a square punch. The photo as usual does not bring out the best of its colours and also for some reason makes it look lobsided (or is it me). I am trying to make a few kid and male friendly cards.

Mercy Challenge

I am rather pleased with this card even if I do say so myself, not sure why but it looks so fresh in the flesh. I flipped the layout on its side. My faithful butterfly came out for this one.

Mercy Challenge

I have some real problems this week with my designs. I cant seem to put together colours or papers arrrgghhhh its so annoying. I have made some cards that are BORING and not worth blogging as far as I am concerned. I have managed to make a card for the Mercy challenge (link to the right) which I am happy with and only 2 colours involved LOL and one is white double LOL. What can go wrong.
