Play Date Cafe and Card Pattern Challenge

I thought I would have a go at the challenge this week along with the recipe from 'The Play Date Cafe'. I used the leaf stamp from the vintage vogue set from stampin up to make the background for the blue card stock. I had made a card with my demonstrator Linda Higgins earlier in the week and I really liked the image, it was on a smaller card and I just had to use it as it fitted so perfectly with the recipe, so I liberated it from that card lol, cut it into an oval, re mounted it and put some lace behind it before fitting it to the card. I have to say I really like this card very much and I know its not good to say that about your own stuff but I just love blues and browns together.

  1. There's absolutely NoTHiNG wrong with saying you like you're own stuff! Sometimes you can be so pleased you just can't stop looking at it, and what's wrong with that! I just love this piece, especially the vintage stamp you've used in the backgrounds. Great to have you join us in the play date cafe today!
