CPS114

I decided to keep this card simple for this challenge and I am loving this concorde crush and matching DS papers by stampin up. I used a white gel pen to make the faux stiching.

3 for 1 today

Well this is the first time I have done a 3 for one in a
challenge. My first one was from Splitcoast stampers colour combo challenge to use cherry cobbler, crumb cake and black. The second one was a picture inspired image over at 'The Cats Pjs' which had a coffee feel about it so hence the coffee cup and finally the third challenge which was the sketch over at Cardpatterns.

Challenge one the colour combo can be found HERE
Challenge for the the TCP challenge can be found HERE
And finally the sketch at Cardpatterns HERE

I have no idea how I managed to change the layout of my posts to this, so if someone can shed light on it so I can get the text underneath and not at the side pls help lol.

Card Pattern Sketch 107

I actually started out doing another challenge before realising I much preferred it for this challenge. I used the Artistic Etchings stamp set from stampin up for this challenge. Stamping the background first and using my dauber and some cherry cobbler ink around the edges. I dont usually do bows but this one really worked with this design. I have to say I am very happy with this card and it actually turned out better than I thought it would.

You can find the challenge sketch HERE

Card Pattern Sketch 98

2 weeks in a row for this challenge lol. I did rotate a little, hope thats ok. I love the DS paper from stampin up its great for kids cards. I made the little boat by half a circle and cut out 2 triangles, easy peasy. I added some chrytstals to the boat for some bling.

Play Date Cafe and Card Pattern Challenge

I thought I would have a go at the challenge this week along with the recipe from 'The Play Date Cafe'. I used the leaf stamp from the vintage vogue set from stampin up to make the background for the blue card stock. I had made a card with my demonstrator Linda Higgins earlier in the week and I really liked the image, it was on a smaller card and I just had to use it as it fitted so perfectly with the recipe, so I liberated it from that card lol, cut it into an oval, re mounted it and put some lace behind it before fitting it to the card. I have to say I really like this card very much and I know its not good to say that about your own stuff but I just love blues and browns together.

Card Pattern Challenge

I decided to keep this one relatively simple. I love my new artistic etchings stamp set from stampin up. I love black and red combo and decided to stick with this. Very simple but I like it.

You can find the challenge HERE.

Card Patterns

this is my first go at one of their challenges. I used Tea party design paper from stampin up along with the playful petals stamp set which I coloured and cut out. I cut thin card stock to make the square design.
